We are excited to launch our summer holiday club programme for our Discovery club (ages 7+). Over 6 weeks of summer, our team thoughtfully plan hundreds of activities that children from 7 years and above will enjoy. Our aim is to take our Discovery children on a daily journey of discovery, pushing their personal limits from using their critical thinking skills through engaging problem-solving activities with friends, to challenging themselves physically with new experiences. They will discover new places on outings, learn new skills, and celebrate their accomplishments along the way. Click on each week below to find out more about what we’ve got in store.
COST: £37.50 plus additional charges for special activities and trips
MEALS: Optional extra charged at £6.50 (please book meals when you book your sessions)
Let’s Get Active: 24-25 July
The first week of Holiday Club is all about getting active and having fun through a mix of energetic games, creative challenges, and outdoor adventures. Children will enjoy building football stadiums with LEGO or giant boxes, making marshmallow flower snacks, and exploring Punt Hill Park with a picnic and lively relay races. Back at the club, there’s a treasure hunt, forest exploration, sports sessions, and high-energy group games like Bench Ball. The excitement continues with tie-dye crafts, cinnamon roll baking, and friendly competitions including egg-and-spoon and tug of war. With obstacle courses, scooter races, and Musical Chairs to wrap it all up, the week promises plenty of action, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
The Wonderful World of Science: 28 July – 1 August
Week two of Holiday Club dives into the Wonderful World of Science, blending curiosity, creativity, and high-energy fun. Children will explore space through model solar systems, unleash fizzy lemon volcanoes, and enjoy forest games and water play. A highlight is the trip to London’s Science Museum — a day of hands-on discovery and inspiring exhibits. Back at the club, activities include colourful experiments, splashy water fights, and visits from emergency services. Kids will design parachutes, create viral chocolate bars, and be wowed by the return of Sublime Science with their live, explosive show. The week wraps up with gravity games, Coke & Mentos blasts, vibrant art projects, and an exciting game of Bench Ball — a perfect mix of science and summer fun.
Week three of Holiday Club is all about discovery, challenge, and growth — encouraging kids to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new experiences. From baking lemon drizzle and milk cake to hands-on art projects and football sessions, each day offers a fresh opportunity to learn and have fun. Highlights include a cinema trip, creative workshops at Norden Farm, outdoor cricket, and an exciting animation workshop where drawings come to life. There’s also plenty of water, mud, and sand play throughout the week, plus fast-paced games like Rounders and Bench Ball. With scooter and bike adventures, den building, and pompom crafts rounding out the week, this adventure-packed programme is all about trying new things, making friends, and having a blast while doing it.
Week four of Holiday Club invites young Nature Explorers to dive into the great outdoors through hands-on activities, wildlife encounters, and eco-friendly creativity. The week begins with building bug hotels and baking alligator cupcakes, followed by adventures in the forest and games on the field. A special visit from Basil Farm brings nature-themed crafts and animal fun, while the Reptile Man introduces children to real reptiles after a morning of clay modelling. A train trip to Marlow Park adds freedom and exploration, with playgrounds, picnics, and a classic game of Bench Ball. The week wraps up with natural henna art, sticky science experiments, creative crafts, and a final game of Rounders — all designed to inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection with the natural world.
Week five takes children Around the World on an exciting cultural adventure, exploring traditions, food, and fun from across the globe. The journey begins with British-inspired crafts and quizzes, forest games, and classic sports. In Italy, kids will build Leaning Towers of Pisa and enjoy a Pizza Express lunch before visiting the library. Indian culture brings colourful diya lamps, vibrant stain jar art, and an energetic Bollywood dance workshop. A train trip to Windsor offers riverside fun and exploration, while Chinese calligraphy introduces a new script and creative flair. The week ends with an Aussie celebration — making fairy bread and koala cookies, crafting boomerangs and dot paintings, and enjoying fast-paced obstacle courses. With bikes, scooters, and plenty of sports and play, it’s a global week full of learning, creativity, and high-energy fun.
Week six is the grand Carnival Week finale — a vibrant celebration packed with fun, colour, and festive flair to end the summer in style. The adventure begins with a train trip for a Back-to-School shopping spree, giving each child £5 to spend, followed by group games and outdoor fun. Midweek brings creativity and pampering with organic henna, nail art, tattoos, and fresh homemade lemonade, plus energetic sports and silly photo booth moments. Thursday is pure carnival joy with an all-day bouncy castle, classic games like ring toss and balloon darts, and a chance to win a cuddly prize. The week wraps with a dazzling final day of bracelet-making, Hama bead crafts, a pizza bread lunch, a disco party with musical games, glitter from Sass and Sparkle, and a candy wheel of surprises — all topped off with one last thrilling game of Benchball. It’s the perfect high-energy send-off to a summer full of memories, friendships, and fun.
Each day, Discovery children have the freedom to take part in a variety of sport and physical activities like basketball, football, skipping, bouldering and bench ball, as well as enjoy a range of free-time activities including board games, colouring in, Lego competitions, group games, and a wide selection of arts and crafts materials to choose from and enjoy at their own leisure. We have a pool table and a table football table, and a chill out zone for those just wanting to read books or magazines, do some scrapbooking or make something out of the wide range of materials available.
Please note: While we do plan to visit the park every day, this is weather dependent.
