Week 1: Summer Fun Kick-Off

20-24 July

Kick off an unforgettable summer with an exciting and activity-filled couple of days of our Junior Summer Holiday Club! Designed especially for children aged 3–6, this first week sets the tone for six weeks of fun, creativity and adventure. From arts and crafts, smoothie making and cupcake decorating to forest exploring, sports sessions and messy play, every day is packed with engaging experiences. Children will love special highlights like picnic lunches at Oaken Grove Park, an in-house cinema with popcorn, a U-Sports session and a fantastic end-of-week disco. It’s the perfect blend of play, learning and social fun—guaranteeing smiles, new friendships and magical summer memories from day one.

Thursday 23 July

Thursday is full of treats, creativity and active fun. In the morning, children will enjoy baking and decorating cupcakes, exploring a sponge paint station, and taking part in a special U-Sports coach session. After lunch, there’s time for story time, group games, and bikes/scooters on the playground. In the afternoon, children can settle in for an in-house movie with popcorn, while those who prefer can choose the art station, playdough, free-flow indoor play and football table instead. After dinner, outdoor fun continues with scooters, bikes, mud kitchen, water play, sand play and sports games, before ending the day with music games.

Friday 25 July

Friday is a brilliant way to finish the week with creativity, adventure and celebration. Children will enjoy stone painting, make magical potion jars, and take on the fun ping pong ball blowing challenge, before heading to Oaken Grove Park for a picnic lunch. After lunch, they can enjoy story time, group games and bikes/scooters on the playground. Then the excitement builds for the afternoon and evening with an in-house disco after dinner, including party games, musical bumps and limbo. After dinner, children can also enjoy outdoor play with scooters, bikes, mud kitchen, water play, sand play and sports games, finishing the week with fun music games before home time.
