Monday 27 July
We begin the week with a splash of creativity as children enjoy sticking with water, making sponge boats, creating seaside small world play and even preparing Eton mess for snack. Outdoor fun includes coloured water painting and water balloon play. After lunch, children can relax with story time, group games and bikes or scooters on the playground. In the afternoon until dinner, the fun continues with seaside tuff trays, paper boat races, water painting and a bucket challenge. After dinner, children can enjoy scooter and bike play, the mud kitchen, water and sand play, and free-choice sports games before winding down with music games at home time.
Tuesday 28 July
Tuesday is perfect for little ones who love to move, create and celebrate. Children can design their own medals and make paper spinners, with a lively U-Sports session in the morning. Outdoor ring toss adds even more active fun. After lunch, we slow the pace with story time, group games and bikes or scooters outside. Afternoon activities before dinner include decorating footballs, completing obstacle courses, making cupcakes to take home and creating cheerleader pom-poms. After dinner, outdoor play continues with bikes and scooters, mud kitchen play, water and sand fun, and sports games, followed by cheerful music games before home time.
Wednesday 29 July
Midweek brings magical science and discovery with Sublime Science, rainbow walking water, magnet paper clip painting and making rain in a jar. Children will also love outdoor experiments like the cola and mint reaction and balloon inflating fun. After lunch, there is time for story time, group games and bikes or scooters on the playground. Afternoon activities until dinner include slime making, magic salt painting, colourful water experiments and growing worms. After dinner, children can enjoy more outdoor play with scooters, mud kitchen fun, water and sand play and active games, ending the day with familiar music games.
Thursday 30 July
Thursday is full of sensory play, baking and teamwork. Children can bounce all day on the bouncy castle, make Rice Krispie cakes with marshmallows and explore homemade kinetic sand. Outdoor messy egg play adds even more excitement. After lunch, children enjoy story time, group games and bikes or scooters on the main playground. In the afternoon before dinner, they can continue morning favourites, bake a lemon drizzle cake and work together on a giant junk-model snake challenge. After dinner, the fun carries on outdoors with bikes and scooters, mud kitchen adventures, water and sand play, and plenty of free-choice sports games.
Friday 31 July
We end the week with imagination, stories and celebration. Children are invited to dress up as their favourite character and bring a book to read. Activities include making bookmarks, story time and show and tell, along with lots of free play choices. After lunch, children can enjoy story time, group games and bikes or scooters outdoors. Afternoon fun before dinner includes making our own story book, tattoos, a spa corner and a pizza-making station. After dinner, children can enjoy outdoor bikes and scooters, mud kitchen and sand play, sports games and a happy end-of-day routine with music games before heading home. Our Summer Holiday Club offers a warm, playful and exciting environment where children aged 3–6 can explore, create, make friends and build confidence through themed activities all week long. It is the perfect mix of fun, learning and adventure for a memorable summer experience.
Each day at Junior Holiday Club, children aged 3–6 enjoy a wonderful balance of choice, creativity and active play, with lots of opportunities to make new friends in a warm, nurturing environment. Our youngest children are supported by dedicated key workers who help them feel confident, settled and ready to explore. Throughout the day, children can take part in a variety of fun, age-appropriate physical activities such as simple team games, ball play, and obstacle-style challenges that encourage movement, coordination and teamwork.
There is always a wide range of engaging free-play opportunities available, including colouring, group games, Lego building and a fantastic selection of arts and crafts materials that children can choose from and enjoy at their own pace. Imaginative play is a big highlight, with dressing-up, dolls and a cosy home corner kitchen where children can role play and bring their ideas to life. Sensory experiences are also a big part of the day, from making playdough to enjoying messy play and hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
For quieter moments, children can relax in soft, cosy reading corners, perfect for looking at books, sharing stories or simply recharging. Outdoors, children have plenty of space to stretch their legs and explore—riding bikes and scooters, playing games, and enjoying the fresh air in our large outdoor areas. With so much variety and freedom of choice, every child can follow their interests, try new things and enjoy a happy, active and memorable holiday experience.
