After outdoor play or a trip to the local park, we’ll make tea-stain scrolls to write secret messages on, combining history and creativity ☕📜. The afternoon includes gym challenges, sports on the field, forest exploring, and a Maidenhead United football session, ending with a fun game of Rounders to keep the energy high!
This summer, our Discovery group will dive into a fun-filled day of teamwork, creativity, and hands-on learning. We’ll kick things off with a taste of Italy, challenging everyone to build their own Leaning Tower of Pisa using paper cups — testing balance, design, and imagination! After morning snacks and registration, it’s time for The Apprentice Challenge. Children will split into two teams and take on the exciting task of designing a product to make and sell. Each team will; Brainstorm and decide on a product idea, create a list of materials needed, manage a budget of £10, head to the shops to purchase supplies, prepare a cost sheet, and market and sell their creations to peers. It’s a fantastic opportunity to build real-world skills like budgeting, teamwork, problem-solving, and presentation — all wrapped up in a fun, supportive environment. Let the best team win!
