Farm View Day Nursery Newsletter
Welcome to our June newsletter!
As the days grow longer and the sun shines a little brighter, we’re excited to dive into two months packed with nature, energy, and fun.
At the end of May, we enjoyed celebrating Wise Owls Childcare’s 25 year anniversary, and in a symbolic gesture of growth and belonging, a native willow tree was planted last week at our day nursery in Shurlock Row. Local legend Debbie McGee joined the children for the planting, making it a magical moment of connection between past, present, and future.
In June, we’ve been focusing on ‘Taking Care of Our Planet’, and we encourage you all to connect with nature and explore the world around you. Why not join in with some of the Wildlife Trust’s 30 Days of Wild campaign – a fantastic way to enjoy simple, wild activities each day. We’ve shared some easy and inspiring ideas at the bottom of the newsletter to help you get started. Plus, we’ll be buzzing with excitement during Insect Week, as we learn more about the tiny creatures that play a big part in our planet’s health.
In July, it’s time to get moving with our ‘Getting Active’ theme! Inspired by the energy of Wimbledon and the UEFA Women’s Football Cup, we’ll be encouraging everyone to get up, get out, and get active. Whether it’s a kickabout in the park, a family walk, or a mini sports day at home, there are endless ways to have fun while staying healthy.
Let’s celebrate nature, movement, and making the most of this vibrant season – together!
