Junior Club

Ages 3-6 years

At our Junior Holiday Club for children aged 3-6 years, your child’s happiness and comfort come first. Every child is paired with a dedicated pastoral care key worker who is there to make sure they feel safe, settled, and supported throughout the day. From helping them find their way around and assisting at mealtimes to reading a favourite book during quiet moments or joining in the fun when they’re ready to run and play—our team is always by their side.

Whether it’s digging in the sandpit, lending a hand with tricky art and craft activities, or encouraging new skills, we create a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. It’s a warm, caring space designed for little ones to feel confident, happy, and truly at home.

📵 Screen-Free Fun – Real Play, Real Smiles

At Junior Club, we believe in hands-on experiences and face-to-face friendships. No tablets, no TVs – just imaginative play, creative crafts, and outdoor adventures that keep children active, engaged and happy.

May Half Term Holiday Club Bookings Are Open!

Over May Half Term at our Junior Holiday Club, children are encouraged to explore, create, and play in a fun and nurturing environment. Alongside our exciting pirate-themed activities, children have access to a range of engaging free-play zones designed to spark imagination and build confidence.

Creative areas offer painting, play dough, and hands-on crafts, while sensory trays are filled with sand, water, and hidden treasures to discover. Role play and dressing-up areas allow children to bring their own pirate adventures to life, encouraging storytelling and imaginative play.

Outdoors, children can enjoy bikes, scooters, and active games, while quieter spaces provide opportunities to relax and unwind. These zones are available every day, giving children the freedom to follow their interests while feeling supported and settled.

Tuesday 26 May – Mini Pirates, Treasure & Forest Explorers

We kick off the week with a morning full of hands-on adventures! Children can create their own pirate passports, play pirate snap, and explore play dough fun. The tuff tray is packed with sand, treasure, boats, pearls, and rocks, and creative challenges include “Pin the Patch” and tea-bag printed treasure maps. After lunch, it’s time to get moving with bikes and scooters, followed by small-group treasure hunts in the forest – perfect for teamwork and problem-solving. In the afternoon, children can bake treasure cookies, craft swords with junk modelling, and make telescopes. The day ends with more outdoor fun, including bikes, scooters, mud kitchen, water and sand activities, and sports games, letting children burn off energy and enjoy time with friends.

Wednesday 27 May – Pirate Disco & Creative Challenges

Day two starts with a lively disco morning, full of musical games and prizes. Children can take on the “Walk the Plank” and balloon cannon challenges, testing their balance and agility in a fun, active way. Creative stations allow children to make eye patches and salt dough gold coins, exploring their imagination and fine motor skills. After lunch, bikes and scooters are back outdoors before an afternoon of live entertainment, bringing stories and performances to life. The day finishes with a pirate-themed picnic – complete with seaweed wraps, parrot food pots, cannonball snacks, and “Berry’d Treasure” pudding. Later, children enjoy a mix of outdoor activities, sports, and sensory play, keeping the afternoon lively and fun.

Thursday 28 May – Pirate Boat Building & Water Creations

Day three is packed with collaborative challenges and hands-on crafts. Mornings feature egg carton treasure chests, pirate hats, paper plate parrots, jewellery making, and painting at the art station. After lunch, children head outdoors for bikes, scooters, and water play with small boats and aqua beads. The highlight of the afternoon is a team-building challenge, constructing a large cardboard pirate boat together, encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. After dinner, children continue to enjoy outdoor play, mud kitchen, water and sand activities, and a range of sports, making the most of the space and their time with friends.
