At our Junior Holiday Club for children aged 3-6 years, your child’s happiness and comfort come first. Every child is paired with a dedicated pastoral care key worker who is there to make sure they feel safe, settled, and supported throughout the day. From helping them find their way around and assisting at mealtimes to reading a favourite book during quiet moments or joining in the fun when they’re ready to run and play—our team is always by their side.
Whether it’s digging in the sandpit, lending a hand with tricky art and craft activities, or encouraging new skills, we create a nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. It’s a warm, caring space designed for little ones to feel confident, happy, and truly at home.

Big Easter Club Highlight
Bring your bikes and scooters every day and spend time with close supervision honing your balancing and pedalling skills!
Please bring a change of clothing for your child and ensure all items brought to club are labelled. Children should come with clothing appropriate for the weather as we promise to spend a lot of active time outdoors. Children can bring their bikes and scooters to club each day and they MUST bring a helmet.
Monday 30 March
We begin our Easter week with a day full of sensory fun and creative exploration. Children can dive into an Easter treasure sensory tray filled before making and decorating their own Easter cards. They’ll also create colourful sensory bottles using rice, glitter, pom poms and coloured water. After snack and an active visit to Oaken Grove Park, the afternoon brings more Easter excitement with chocolate cornflake nests, coloured‑water play outdoors, and egg carton junk modelling. The highlight of the day arrives from 2–3pm, when the children meet the Reptile Man and get a close‑up look at fascinating creatures. We end the day with outdoor play, sports, and favourite group games like Simon Says and Musical Statues.
Tuesday is full of colour, creativity and hands‑on exploration. Children begin the day with an Easter‑themed sensory tuff tray for scooping, pouring and imaginative small‑world play. At our Easter painting station, children can design their own Easter eggs using potato printing, brushes and sponges – each artwork labelled so families can admire the finished pieces later. There’s also the option to make Hama bead creations, choosing between Easter-themed keyrings or coasters that children can take home. After snack, the children get ready for a visit to Oaken Grove Park, where they explore the playground, run, climb and enjoy the fresh spring air. Following lunch, scooters, bikes and outdoor sports give the children a chance to burn off energy before we continue with creative activities. Outdoors, children can decorate the playground with water painting and chalks, while indoors they can take part in Easter egg salt painting, watching the colours spread and blend across the raised salt designs.
Wednesday is full of hands‑on creativity and playful springtime fun. The morning features chocolate gloop messy play (a cocoa‑scented favourite!), bunny paper plate crafts, and energetic egg‑and‑spoon races, with a mini‑egg prize for the winner. After snack and an energetic visit to Oaken Grove Park, the afternoon brings even more excitement, including Sass and Sparkle for a glitter‑filled session the children adore, plus making their own Easter treat bags. We finish with outdoor play, sports games and a cosy end‑of‑day Show and Tell before heading home with musical games.
Thursday offers a wonderful mix of creative crafting and classic Easter fun. Children begin the day by making their own salt‑dough ornaments, which they’ll paint later in the afternoon, followed by crafting Easter baskets ready for our hunt. They’ll also create adorable Easter chick handprint art, alongside opportunities for imaginative and construction play in our free‑flow areas.
After snack and a trip to Oaken Grove Park, children enjoy lunch before taking part in our Easter Egg Hunt on the field. One group will hunt for eggs while the other plays Pass the Parcel – then they swap to ensure they all get a fair go! Outdoor games continue with Pin the Tail on the Bunny. After dinner, we celebrate with an exciting Easter party, complete with an in‑house disco, music games and lots of prizes. We end with lively group games like Duck Duck Goose before home time.
Tuesday is bursting with spring exploration as we dive into the world of mini beasts. Children begin the day with a Mini Beast Tuff Tray, filled with pretend insects, bark, soil, twigs and natural textures to spark curiosity and imaginative play. They can also create their own paper plate bumble bees, adding paint, wings and stripes. After snack, the children get ready to head to Oaken Grove Park for a small‑group bug hunt, searching under logs and leaves for worms, beetles and other garden creatures. This activity gives them a hands‑on nature adventure while supporting early understanding of the world around them. Following lunch, it’s time for scooters, bikes and outdoor sports before continuing the morning’s crafts and sensory activities. The afternoon also features a delicious spring-themed treat as children create grape caterpillars, assembling the fruit onto skewers and adding tiny eyes to bring their caterpillar characters to life. We end the day outdoors with water play, sand play, the mud kitchen and sports before coming back inside for familiar group favourites like Simon Says, Guess What Animal I Am and musical movement games.
Wednesday is packed with movement and imaginative play as the bouncy castle is available for most of the day. Children can jump in and out as they choose, while also exploring themed sensory play like “bugs in muck,” creating their own bookmarks, or enjoying our dressing up, Lego, small world and art tables.
After snack and a visit to the popular Oaken Grove Park, the afternoon brings more spring crafts including potato cress heads and spider handprints. Outdoor sports, water play and the mud kitchen keep the excitement going. We finish with Story Time, Sleeping Lions and musical games, a calm end to a busy day.
Thursday is a perfect blend of sensory exploration and creative outdoor learning. Children start the day by making soft, squishy cloud dough, followed by building mini bug hotels using recycled materials like milk bottles and toilet rolls. Free‑choice play areas remain open for imagination and role play.
After our trip to Oaken Grove Park and lunch, the afternoon focuses on nature-inspired making as the children create garden windchimes and bird feeders to take home. Outdoor play, bikes and sports follow before we end with Show and Tell and musical games.
We finish the week with a lovely combination of baking, nature exploration and creative crafting. Children begin by making and decorating their own ladybug biscuits, then head out to the park to gather natural treasures, grass, twigs and leaves – to build mini gardens in a jar.
After lunch, children continue the spring theme by creating bright dragonflies from lollipop sticks. The day ends outdoors with water play, sand play and sports, before favourite games like Hot Potato and Musical Bumps bring the afternoon to a cheerful close.
