A key person has special responsibilities for supporting your child and building a special bond with them and their family. The role will involve physical and personal care for your child. It is therefore important that you share important information about your child’s preferences, likes and dislikes, motivations and interests, and how they feel about being away from home. Parents might want to talk about their child’s feelings or development with their key person.

Your child’s key person will also plan appropriate activities for your child and observe their personal, social, health and physical development according to EYFS guidelines and the Wise Owls Childcare curriculum.
